Sounds of
Joy Ministries has
a burden for our dear Nursing Home Brothers and Sisters. These
folks are normally unable to attend regular church services
due to physical and mental limitations. The Apostle James tells
us in God's word that, "Pure religion and undefiled before God
and the father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in
their affliction..." Our Lord Jesus Christ in Matt 25:40 encourages
the multitude to remain faithful in service towards the King
(God) and tells us of pending judgment that is yet to come.
"And the king shall answer and say unto them, verily I say unto
you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these
my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Sounds
of Joy Ministries
not only desires to conduct regular worship services (singing,
preaching, devotionals, and resource material distribution)
but we are also striving to meet the Pastoral needs of the residents,
staff and visiting family members and friends. Sounds of Joy
Ministries is currently operating in the Jacksonville, Florida
area and hopes to expand as God wills and provides.

Joy Ministries is
comprised of a variety of church members who God has led into
the specific dynamic ministries towards His precious children
residing within the nursing home communities within several
geographical areas to include; Georgia, Texas, South Carolina
and Florida. No matter where one can find a nursing home the
needs remain the same. They need to hear of the sacrificial,
atoning, regenerating and merciful love of Jesus towards all
of mankind and the need for each individual soul to act upon
the precious name of Jesus Christ for both salvation and victorious
Christian living.
Please pray for us as we continue
to strive to serve our Lord and Savior in the area of nursing
